Edith's Birthday Dress.

Edith turned one year old this morning. I can hardly believe that an entire year has gone by since this sweet little girl joined our lives. She has brought us so much joy with her sweet little spirit and calm demeanor. I love having a little girl and feel like we have a special mother-daughter bond that can't be replicated. Edith is my snuggler; she will gently lean into me and rest her head on my shoulder every so often and I think its her way of letting me know she loves me. Her face lights up when she sees me after being apart, and it makes my heart feel full!

I copied this great tradition from my cousin Katelyn of making a birthday dress and I hope to be able to keep it up. I sewed Edith the Geranium Dress from made by RAE in size 12-18 months. The fit is perfect, with some room to grow, and I am just in love with the way it turned out. Here are some sweet photos of Edie all dressed up and happy as ever.
