This shoot brought back sweet romantic feelings from my very own wedding day, which made photographing Jason and Kaila even that much more fun. The rain was the perfect kind of rain for an engagement session, and even though we almost got our vehicle stuck in a big mud bog I think it was well worth the effort.

everyone deserves to have someone love them! these two reminded me how important it is to cherish the time we have with the ones we love. don't wish your days away by hoping for better things; come what may and love it! we need to enjoy life one step at a time and take in each day with a smile! love is precious.

february is the month of love, so what is more appropriate than engagement photos. if you can't tell, it was snowing, really snowing while we took these photos! {it was fun, romantic, and a little cold}. engagement is such an interesting time in a relationship full of excitement, anticipation, anxiety, stress, love, a time of change and wonder for what is going to come. marriage changes your life forever, but it is the best kind of change you will ever experience!!!

i woke up this morning {late; porter slept in} and looked out the window to find a gorgeous winter wonderland! i was so excited; snow is such a beautiful backdrop! i photographed these two this morning and i am so in love with so many of their photos, i couldn't help myself i just had to share some {and these aren't even my most favorites}. jason and lacey are so sweet together and i get to photograph their wedding in april! yeah! enjoy!

my little sister is getting married next saturday; crazy! her and her fiance have been apart for most of the summer and so we were finally able to get some good photos of them together before the big day!
