Reaching Goals.

I don't think there are many people who can say their mother looks like this. Well this is my Mom. I am so proud of her and look up to her for so many reasons. This photo shoot was in celebration of a hard earned goal met. Earlier this year my mother decided she wanted to do something that would stretch her limits both physically and mentally. Most people would have run a marathon, competed in a triathlon, or climbed a mountain. My mother entered a fitness model competition to reach her goal of being in the best shape of her life. My mom has always said she wanted to do something crazy in her 50's and well she reached her goal with flying colours. This woman is 55 years old has had 6 babies and continues to amaze me all the time. Some might frown on the idea of a fitness competition and all that it entails, but let me tell you they are not for sissies. The competition stretches you physically and mentally and requires the ultimate in self-control and discipline. My mom is a force to be reckoned with; here she is!
